I had this idea of a post to write, but I"m tired and I don't feel like writing it all out. I'll give you the Cliff Notes version instead.
I learned to write with pen and paper and it felt so natural to me so I resisted the computer. Plus I was a slow typer.
Finally I caved and used the computer to write, it chnaged my style and my speed. I jump around the page a lot. Sometimes I write the last paragraph first. I am unbound by the freedom and ease of the cut and paste function.
Now, thanks to some worms/trojan horses/what have you, my computer is non-funtional. Instead of running to ebay and getting the cheapest PC i can find as quickly as possible, I'm letting the internet go on without me. At first it was hard and then it got easier. I have all this time I dno't know what to do with that I would ordinarily spend staring at facebook or googling various rare forms of invasive cancer.
so i'm doing all my wiritng on paper again. one word after another. no skipping and going back. and my handwriting's a mess.
blah blah rearranging my life healthy balance more of the stuff i said in my last post blah blah blah. Damon wants his computer back. See you later this week.

I'm just glad you aren't gone for good. Why don't you write and publish a real book fer cryin' out loud so I can become a REAL groupie. Geesh.
