Week 3 of nano, and my computer broke.
10 % left on the battery and the damn thing isn't charging. It's the power input thing. Again.
I was finally getting my groove on, so I will continue the old-fashined way, pen and paper. It's the way I learned to write, after all, and it is not worse, not better, just different. It sucks for the whole verifiable word count thing, but I wasn't really keeping track anyway. Numbers are a distraction. Numbers screw me up. It's why I don't have a scale, it's why I didn't want to get my dilation and effacement checked.
So right now I am posting from the free computer at ING Direct. I'll be able to check my email once a day as I get my morning coffee. Or if someone lets me borrow their computer for a few moments.
Sigh. The timing could hardly have been worse, but I'll survive.
