I had an appointment this morning up in the far Art Museum Area, 24th and Brown. Way outside of walking distance, no convenient bus access that I knew of. I took a cab with my baby and my huge duffel bag of slings (I know, BAD BAD BAD, but it's actually legal for a toddler to be in a cab without a carseat in some places). I have to figure out a better system. I should ask them what they're interested in before I schlep 20 slings all over town. This woman only looked at three. I could prbably afford to sell some of them, because no one ever looks at them. Maybe I should just make everyone come to my house.
Anyway, she told me where I could take a bus back into town, within seven blocks of my house. I managed to bash every person on both sides of the aisle in the head with my giant bag, and I coulnd't fit in the only seat avaialble to me.
By the time I walked home, Naomi was aslep and balanced awkwardly in the sling, My shoulder with the bag on it was red and raw and very sore, and all I could do was collapse in from on LJ and start complaining.
Maybe I should get a car.
